Casa Bica Vista sits on Portugal's Silver Coast, the Costa de Prata, where long Atlantic beaches, pine forests and medieval villages meet some of Europe's best surf. We built the house for unhurried days: light-filled rooms, natural materials, linen, and the sound of the ocean never far away.

The House
A whitewashed Portuguese villa set in green lawns above the Atlantic. Open-plan living spaces flow out to a private pool and shaded pergola terraces, made for long breakfasts and sunset drinks over the ocean. Inside, a calm palette of white, sand and driftwood lets the coastal light do the work.

Casa Bica Vista is on Portugal's Silver Coast, around an hour's drive north of Lisbon, the nearest international airport. Porto is a scenic drive up the coast.
